Tropical Island is the creation of television producer Terry Jervis. He wanted to create something colouful, inspirational, fun and most of all familiar. a place children can identify with and believe exists. Everyone has an idea of what a tropical island is, but Terry wanted to take the audience there whenever they wanted to go. Seven days of sun, sea, sand and fun, there is never a dull day on Tropical Island. A former BBC producer and director, Terry has been in the media industry for 20 years, also having ran his own record label with the legendary Motown records. Terry has used his extensive skills and knowledge in this area to bring together a range of products to support Tropical Island (video, DVD, music, audio stories, computer & activity games). He set up his own independent company, Jervis Entertainment Media limited (JEM Ltd.), two years ago.
